S1Raww

S1 is the youngest member of South London's #TeamRaw music collective flying the flag high for Stockwell. He started crafting music at age 15. Encouraged by the local olders and fuelled by his own self-determination, S1 recalls traveling to parts of the city he'd never even heard of to record with new producers. His graft and lyrical versatility quickly paid off. Tracks made with producers Moneyevery (AbraCadabra, HeadieOne, Big Tobz) and SwavyBeats (Russ x Taze) were showcased on both Link Up TV and Mixtape Madness respectively, certifying the unsigned talent as one to watch.

Unfortunately, S1 is one of many aspiring artists that saw his work censored and deleted when Scotland Yard asked YouTube to remove a number of drill videos; undeterred, S1 reinvented himself. Returning transformed and evolved, his style takes elements from Drill, Afrobeats, and  Rap and re-emerges as the culturally sonic sounds of Afro Drill.
